Our trip along the Kennet and Avon Canal began at Aldermaston Wharf.  We headed West through Thatcham, Newbury, Kintbury and Hungerford. We turned back just before Lock 70 in Froxfield.  Returning East we dropped Joanne off at the Swan Inn at Thatcham and then went on back to Aldermaston.  We continued further East to turn just before Tyle Mill Lock in order to return to the Reading Marina Boat Ward after 7 days.

These photos document our trip.

A stop off at Kintbury to fill up with water
Then on to Hungerford

With a little bread in your hands, you're sure to make a few friends on the canal.  But this one little duck did not want to wait on ceremony.

Relaxing and refreshments, including catching, cooking and eating Cray fish
